Regarding Groundhog46

I was born in Chicago, IL on February 2, 1946, went to public school in Chicago, first at Perry Grammar School, and then Calumet High School. After a 8-week Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind college prep course, I Then attended Chicago Loop Junior College, a 6-month training at what was known at that time as the Illinois Visually Handicapped Institute (Now, ICRE-Wood), followed by the rest of my college experience at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. I did get some computer programming training at Computer Systems Institute in Pittsburgh, PA, but just as I left the school as a certified programmer, the market for that job closed, leaving me to do some small jobs as a telemarketer prior to my training with the Social Security Administration for which I worked for 32 years. In October, 2006, I retired from that contact representative job and have been enjoying retirement since that time, occasionally at our future retirement home in Mount Carmel, (southern) Illinois, and working with people who share my love for computers. I currently live in Chicago, married to the coolest lady, Renee Zelickson, as of February 14, 2004, who I consider my lucky charm. She still continues her work with Social Security as a claims authorizer in the immediate claims taking unit in Chicago.

Introductory Note

This website is currently under construction, and I wish to make this a "treasure chest" of information and elements of instruction for those who would like to learn. Please check back here occasionally as you never know when that curious old groundhog will discover something he decides to hide in his "treasure chest."
